Apr 30th 2009 Aquasana Water Filter Review

This past weekend I was checking out some water filters for my home. Where I live, the water isn’t so great. In fact, my son has been getting allergic reactions from the water.

Even though the city tests the water, it’s different. In my county, there’s several cities and the water in one city is totally different from another.

If they’re going to test water quality, it should be where the water comes out (of the pipes)….not before it’s dispersed to the residents.

While that my seem like a lot of work for the city, I’ve rather take things into my own hands. I’m sure it would cost the tax payers less if each of us just bought our own home water filter system. Based on the specs, it looks like the Aquasana is a great filter.

Apr 29th 2009 Cool Photography - Pinhole Cameras That Will Get Your Creativity Going

When I went digital, I had a whole pile of film in the fridge that just sat there for a long time and eventually expired. If you (or your parents) have been into photography for a while, you’re probably in the same situation. But as long as you don’t expect perfection every time, even expired film can be used, especially for different creative projects using “alternative” cameras. The fact that it’s expired may even add an interesting twist to your photos.
